Steps for better concentration while studying
It's important to develop good study habits, but also to take breaks to refresh your mind. Fresh air, exercise, healthy eating and a good night's sleep are the best for improved concentration. With study it is less about the quantity of hours that you study, and more about the quality of the time you put in.
🔑 Key things to remember:
👍Before you begin spend time getting into a calm, positive mindset. 5 minutes of deep breathing will help.
Write down your goal for the day. Make it realistic and break it down into chunks.
Pick a quiet place to work.
✏Be prepared with all the materials you need.
⏰Use your mobile only to set timers for study breaks - I suggest setting 30 minute study sessions with 5 minute breaks until you figure out what suits you
🚫Set your status to away, and put your mobile on silent and out of sight, so you're not interrupted.
🍬If you meet your goal for the day, reward yourself with something you enjoy.
